Crossroads between Thailand, Cambodia and Viet-Nam
Pakse is situated at the confluence of the Xedone and Mekong rivers.
With almost 30000 inhabitants,the largest city of South Laos, the second largest one in Laos, Pakse is the principal place of gathering of the area with its main attraction: the morning market.
Officialy the capital city of Champassak province, Pakse is the crossroads between Thailand, Cambodia and Viet-Nam, thanks to the International airport and the roads leading out there.
